I know you’re going through a really hard time right now and there will be plenty of shitty days coming ahead. Everything you see and do will remind you of her. Maybe when you look out the door and see the sun, you’d remember the days when you guys walked down the streets hand in hand, or maybe during rainy days, you’ll remember how afraid of thunder she was and wonder if she’s doing alright on this gloomy day. You’ll realize that someone who was once your everything is now just a mere stranger, and that you’d be shut off from their life completely from now on. You’ll keep wondering how they did it, how they made the decision to just throw it all away when you guys hit a curve. Or maybe why she just couldn’t try a little harder and leave the rest to you. You’ll realize how much a bad heartbreak can actually hurt- like she ripped a piece of your heart out and ran away with it. You’ll occasionally feel it when you’re secretly crying. You’ll have a lot of sleepless nights up reminiscing everything you guys been through just to realize that it won’t happen again. In saying all of the above, I just wanted to let you know that the road ahead is going to be very rough but its how you handle it that makes the difference. It’ll be very hard to adjust, because having her by your sides been a habit for so long. No one said it was going to be easy and however long you’ll take, depends on you. I hope that with enough time, you’ll eventually get back up on your feet again. And that when you think back to those memories, what you feel won’t be pain and sadness. Maybe even grateful that there was once a person who you gave you such a wonderful experience. People fall in and out of love all the time- it’s not the end of the world. You might think you probably wouldn’t be able to open up to another girl the way you did for her, or that no one will find out more about you than the way she knows you- truth is, you are- but before that, you’re gonna have to forget about the one who forgot about you. Stay strong, take your time, because time heals everything. Just know your friends and I are all here for you.
